We believe that every customer is unique and that their website should be a direct reflection of this. By listening carefully to our clients and then using years of experience in development and business, we create sites which are highly effective at representing our customer's core branding and ideals while engaging visitors.
Building the Perfect Site
In order to ensure that every customer gets something that meets their precise requirements and stands out from the crowd, we follow a simple procedure which is broken down into 5 stages:
Initial Free Consultation
It’s extremely important that we not only understand you and your business, but also why you are looking to develop a website or update an existing one.
We’ll discuss exactly what you’d like to achieve in the short, medium and long term and if you have an existing site, then we’ll provide our free analysis on what we view as its strengths and weaknesses and where it might be improved.
We can undertake the initial consultation at your convenience and once it’s complete, we’ll email you a summary of what we discussed.
Design Concept
Based on the initial consultation we’ll produce a proof outline of how we think the website will look including the navigation, key layout and colour scheme. We’ll then discuss this with you at length and amend it as required.
We’ll send you another proof outline after each revision and repeat the process until you are completely happy with the design.
Once the initial design is approved, we’ll then look more closely at which pages, features and functionality are required and if necessary, update the design to ensure that these can be provided in an optimised way.
After all of this has been completed, we’ll provide you with a fixed-price quote for the work.
Website Production
We’ll set about creating the actual code which will make your website work, as well as creating/acquiring the graphics required. At the same time, we’ll ask you to send us any specific content that we may need from you during the initial build – text, photos, documents, etc.
If you’d like, we can also help you source additional content or provide advice on what may or may not work well as part of your site – just ask as part of the initial consultation.
Online Testing
We’ll thoroughly test all of the code that we produce as the development proceeds, but in addition to this, once the build is complete, we’ll also create a full, working version of your site in a an online area where we’ll test every aspect again.
Once our own testing is complete, we’ll then provide you with access to the private online copy, where you’ll be able to undertake as much of your own testing as necessary and ensure that the site is exactly how you want it to be.
Live Release
When you are happy that the site is as we said it would be, we’ll publish it for public use and complete a final “live test”.
From this point, in the unlikely event that there are any issues, you’ll be covered by our comprehensive warranty, but regardless, we are always here to help where we can.
Getting the Internet to Work for You
Right Tools, Right Job
There are many tools and frameworks available for developers to create modern websites, but we have yet to find one which can deliver what we think our customers deserve straight "out of the box".
This is part of the difference that we make; not only do we have considerable experience to get the best from these tools, but we also have the knowledge and expertise to create bespoke code to extend, enhance and improve on what can be offered to ensure that the sites we deliver provide so much more and stand out from the competition.
Making a Difference
It's one thing to deliver a flashy site crammed full of images, animation and sound, it's a completely different prospect to deliver something that is efficient, elegant, easy to navigate and gets the message home to both your customers and search engines.
Websites that are full of very impressive visuals may initially "wow", but what is the point of this if they load slowly or don't get your message across? Worse still, how useful are they if they don't work in all of the browsers or rank that well with the search engines?
We work hard to ensure the right balance between ease of use, performance and attractive visuals.
